Check out Dave the chimps awesome installation, he has been making all sorts of fun things to do with masks recently including a few that made me piss my pants laughing.
Good work Dave

themonkeysmasks:

Here is my installation as part of the project “Raum für Freunde” (Room for Friends) at the Kunstverein in Castle Wolfsburg.
http://www.kunstverein-wolfsburg.de/aktuell/
It’s intended to be interactive. The monster masks can be worn and the arms moved, like some kind of combined costume and puppet. The props on the floor are for kids to complete the scene. The swords can be pulled from the stone like in the legend of King Arthur, the helmets and shield worn.
The idea is that people play with this “theatre set” and photograph and film their fun, and then send me the photos and footage. This can be used as research for future interactive pieces, or as a way to present this project (eg, in a book)
So take a trip to Wolfsburg before the 27th June and have some fun!
